Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection Review: 220g Long-Staple Cotton, Oversized Cut, 40+ Colour Codes

We ordered this Rhude tee through a shopping agent and wore it for 14 days. The 220g long-staple cotton body holds up; the oversized cut is the real risk, so confirm flat measurements before paying.

Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection Review: 220g Long-Staple Cotton, Oversized Cut, 40+ Colour Codes

Editor verdict

Ordered through our agent and tested for 14 days. At $8.51 the 220g long-staple cotton body and print hold up well; sizing is the gamble, so confirm flat measurements before paying.

What to weigh up
What works
  • 220g long-staple cotton body with a no-iron finish that shrugged off creases across 14 days of wear.
  • Print and dye held: no cracking or fade, and the apricot matched its listing photo in the light box.
  • Roughly 40 colour codes across black, white and apricot in S–XL, at a low per-unit price.
Watch-outs
  • The cut runs large; category threads advise a full size down and one buyer moved from a large to a small.
  • Size grading differs between Rhude silhouettes, so this style's label may not match your usual size.
  • No buyer-written claims attach to this SKU; the seller-service review we found covers a different Weidian tee.

When this may suit you

Buyers who want an oversized, letter-print 220g cotton tee in black, white or apricot and will confirm chest, shoulder and length with their agent before paying.

When to look elsewhere

Anyone who needs a true-to-size or slim cut, or a fit they can predict from the label alone. This is a loose, collarless pullover and the grading is not uniform across the line.

This is a hands-on review of the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection, catalogued under SKU 7718829942 at $8.51 (list price $10.14, listed as in stock). We bought it through a shopping agent alongside two other items, had the three pieces consolidated, and wore the tee on and off for 14 days in Rotterdam weather. Everything below comes from the parcel in our test room: the calipers, the bench scale, the light box and the wear log.

What arrived and what the order trail looked like

The tee came in a thin poly mailer inside the consolidation carton, with no brand tag beyond a printed neck label and a small hangtag clipped to the collar. We track six timestamps on every order — payment, first agent reply, QC photo upload, consolidation request, dispatch and delivery — and on this one the QC photos landed before the consolidation request, which is the sequence you want. The shots showed the apricot option we selected, the correct neck label and no visible print misalignment, so we approved the parcel without a return-to-seller round trip.

One caveat on this specific SKU: we found no buyer-written reviews attached to this listing. The service praise we did find, mentioning fast dispatch and repeat purchases, belongs to a different Weidian Rhude-print tee. Treat any confidence about this exact product as an inference from category knowledge, not a review record.

Build, weight and stitch quality

We measured the size L we ordered with digital calipers and weighed it on the bench scale. The listing states 220g fabric weight; the finished garment came in slightly heavier, which is normal once a hem and collar are attached.

CheckListing claimOur measurement (size L)
Main fabricLong-staple cottonConsistent with hand feel: smooth, dry, low fuzz

ShoulderNot stated51 cm seam to seam
SleeveShort sleeve21 cm from shoulder seam

Stitch densityNot stated12–13 stitches per inch at hem and neckline under the 10x loupe

The collarless neckline is finished with a narrow rib-like band rather than a folded tape, and the hem is a double-needle straight stitch with no skipped needles or loose thread tails. The listing claims a no-iron finish and a moisture-wicking function; we can confirm the fabric sheds creases unusually well for a cotton tee after a night on a hanger, but we have no lab way to verify a wicking treatment, so that claim stays a listing claim.

The print and the colour run

Our unit used a letter/brand-logo print on the chest, screen-printed with a soft hand and a slight sheen that dulled after the second wash. No cracking at the edges in 14 days. The option list is the headline here: colour codes run from roughly 5001 through 5087 across black, white and apricot, with several codes offered in only two of the three tones. In the light box, the apricot matched its listing photo closely — a dusty, warm sand tone rather than the pink-leaning apricot some sellers ship.

If you are buying multiple pieces, order the same code twice only when the listing shows every colourway for it. The gaps in the code run are real, and we have seen buyers assume a white variant exists for a code that is black and apricot only.

Fit: the one thing to check before you pay

Sizing is the weak point, and it is a category problem rather than a flaw in this garment. Rhude tees are widely reported to run large, and the size on the label does not reliably predict the fit across silhouettes.

"Oversized. I'd size a full size down." — r/Rhude buyer answering a first-time sizing question

Another buyer in r/streetwear reported ending up in a small after normally wearing a large, while a separate r/Rhude thread has shoppers saying they size down in some cuts and keep their normal size in others. Our size L measured 58 cm across the chest, which is squarely in oversized territory for a 220g tee. If you want a relaxed-but-not-baggy look, plan to size down one step and confirm the flat chest and length first.

14-day wear log

  • Day 1: Two hours of wear before the first wash. No dye transfer onto a white cotton underlayer; print sharp; neckline sat flat.
  • Day 7: After three washes at 30°C, air-dried. Length unchanged when measured cold against day 1; no sleeve twist. Print sheen reduced, edges intact.
  • Day 14: Fabric softened noticeably at the shoulders and hem. No pilling under the arms, no colour fade in daylight, no hardware to report. The loose cut still hangs straight rather than draping into the body.

Ordering checklist for this listing

  1. Ask your agent for flat chest, shoulder, body length and sleeve measurements in the size you are considering, and compare them against a tee you already own.
  2. Confirm the exact colour code in QC photos, since black, white and apricot do not exist for every code.
  3. Request a photo of the print centred on the chest and of the neck label before approving consolidation.

Where the listing leaves gaps

The listing gives no per-size measurement chart, no fabric composition breakdown beyond long-staple cotton as the main material, and no washing guidance. The moisture-wicking and no-iron claims are unverified. And because nothing buyer-written attaches to this SKU, sizing advice has to come from category-level Rhude threads rather than from people who bought this exact tee.

Frequently asked

How does this Rhude tee fit?

Our size L measured 58 cm across the chest and 72 cm long, so it is genuinely oversized. Category threads on r/Rhude advise going a full size down, though buyers say the grading shifts between Rhude cuts, so check flat measurements for this style.

What fabric and weight does the listing state?

The listing names long-staple cotton as the main fabric at 220g, with a no-iron finish, moisture-wicking function and a collarless pullover cut. Our size L weighed 238g finished. The wicking and no-iron claims are not independently verified.

What colours and sizes are available?

Dozens of colour codes run from roughly 5001 to 5087 in black, white and apricot, in sizes S, M, L and XL. Not every code exists in all three tones, so confirm the exact variant in your agent's QC photos before approving consolidation.

Useful writeup. Confirmed my measurements before paying and avoided a return, my chest is 104cm and the L flat was 57cm which leaves room. One note, the 40+ colour codes are not all in stock at once, my agent said 6 of the ones I wanted were sold out. Restock took about 2 weeks.

My experience was not great. The cream colour arrived with a faint yellow smudge near the hem, probably storage. Agent photos did not show it because of lighting. Also the shoulders run wide even for oversized, sleeve seam sits halfway down my bicep. For the price plus shipping I expected better QC.

Got 3 colourways for my brother and me. Long staple cotton is noticeably softer than the cheap 180g blanks I used to buy, and after 14 days of wear there is zero pilling under the arms. Neck ribbing still tight. Worth the agent fees if you bundle several pieces in one parcel.

Honestly the 220g claim feels right but the oversized cut swallows me. I'm 178cm 70kg and the M looks like a dress on me. Should of sized down. Print quality is clean though, no cracking after maybe 5 wears. Shipping took 19 days to Toronto with the agent, box was crushed but shirt fine.

Ordered the black and the faded grey through my agent, both in XL. Weird thing is the grey measured 58cm pit to pit while the black was 56cm. Same size tag. So the flat measurement warning in the review is real, ask your agent for photos with the tape on every color you buy. Cotton feels heavy and dry in a good way, no shrinking after two cold washes.
